Freelance independant live and studio sound engineer, tour manager and music producer.
Since 1981 I have been mixing live music performances in many genres from small venues to large scale festival stages. I have also recorded, mixed, and produced numerous albums and single releases for a wide range of artists.
In 35 years I have mixed over 7000 live performances and have combined album/single sales of over 6.5 million units (including 7 platinum discs).
I can offer a wide range of services including: Design, specification and supervision of sound system installation, live music and theatre mixing, front of house and monitor mixing, studio recording and mixing, music production, sound for film, tv, and voice-overs, consultancy regarding events, tours or permanent audio
From the initial planning stage to the final show/installation/recording I can offer a completely professional service with high quality outcomes. As I am not an equipment hire company I am in the unique position of being able to get the ideal set up from a range of suppliers or studios and negotiate the best possible rates on you behalf.

I have been lucky enough to work with Dave Scott on several occasions. His knowledge and understanding was vital in achieving the perfect end result. Dave has always been a real pleasure to work with and the experience he brings to the table is 2nd to none. Dave has recently worked on my solo album ' BLANEY Feat Mark.E.Smith - Urban Nature ' I look forward to working with him in the near future. To be brutally honest, I would say Dave Scott has everything you need as a recording artist from his approach to take off. In my 20+ years in music, I have never worked with anyone as good as Dave Scott. A genuine UK treasure.
