I visited Jordan in November, and as goodbye gifts, my family and friends gave me a ton of sweets - all from Afamya al-Sham. While I protested in the beginning, I regret not brining more with me (I had to leave a few packages behind as my luggage was completely full). OMG, they have the BEST sweets ever!!!!! Their ma'moul (baby bites made with dates and sprinkled with pistachios, and made with butter) is out of this world. Their burma and baklawa are unreal. I got several boxes that had a mix of sweets and we plowed through them faster than you can blink. This is the place to go to (better than all the regularly known places).
