Sowt - Amman

Sowt is a social networking platform that encourages dialogue and discussion through short audio posts. It allows users to create an account and follow other users, allowing them to explore the most popular posts. Users can record up to 42 seconds of audio and attach a text description, a picture, and a location to their post. They can also like, echo (re-post), and comment on posts. Sowt is currently an invitation-only service and is available on the web, iOS (iPhone and iPod Touch), and Android in both English and Arabic with options to sign-up by email, Facebook, and Twitter. In the near future, it will launch to the public with additional features such as playlists and channels.
