Responsibilities

  • Has a global and up-to-date vision of information systems and a good knowledge of the company.
  • Carries out a permanent inventory and manages the various components of the various networks.
  • Monitors and analyzes performance and implements measures to improve the tool's quality or productivity.
  • Elaborates rules for using the tool by the company's standards and service contracts
  • Documents promote and monitor their implementation.
  • Install, configure, and update server software and applications on-premise and on the cloud
  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network security and implement necessary measures to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  • Approves and performs the installation, and integration of new tools (systems, networks, and telecoms) in the prod environment.
  • Identify/order and install equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.) useful for the proper functioning of the network and workstations.
  • Assign profiles to manage access rights to servers and applications. Manages access to IS resources.
  • Organize the transfer and backup of data and define the RTP, RPO, and DRP.
  • Handles internal reports of incidents and anomalies, from diagnosing the incident to identifying, formulating, and following up on its resolution.
  • Analyze failures and propose or implement solutions in collaboration with the architect or the network technicians.
  • Maintaining the control system servers and workstations with reasonably updated software and drivers which includes Windows OS, SCADA software, Historian software, Alarm messaging software, PLC programming software, etc.
  • Maintaining healthy hardware for control system servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Monitoring the health status of control system devices and networks.
  • Application software programming in coordination with ICS and operation teams which includes PLC, SCADA, MS Excel, field device interface applications, etc.
  • Development of standard operating procedures and standard work procedures related to IT &; OT systems.
  • Maintaining the updated files detailing the system and network settings which includes device list, IP address, user
    names, passwords, communication settings, data exchange tables, etc.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often required.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, can enhance qualifications.
