Job vacancy Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and create structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
• Utilize engineering principles and software tools to analyze and optimize structural components.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural designs within overall project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to enhance project outcomes.
• Conduct structural analysis and simulations to assess the performance of designs under various conditions.
• Evaluate and recommend materials, construction methods, and design modifications for optimal project outcomes.
• Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Communicate design concepts and recommendations effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct quality checks on design work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in structural design and analysis for a variety of projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of relevant building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
