Job vacancy Nutrition Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly visits to provider homes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide coaching and corrective actions as needed.
• Document visits and communication promptly, following EFQ guidelines.
• Stay updated on state regulations and communicate any changes to providers.
• Connect parents/caregivers to resources and make referrals as needed.
• Maintain and update a Community Partner Resource Guide.
• Support coordination of workshops, events, and Network activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition.
• Training in nutrition, health, and safety.
• Preferred experience in family child care or with infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to travel within the catchment area.
• Understanding and appreciation of diverse provider and family needs.
