Binder Materials

Fillers

Fillers are powdered particle chemical that come in different sizes and shapes and made up of Calcium Carbonate and Talc. Their purposes are:

• Support main paints components in the cover-up factor.
• Reduce the level of transparency in the binders.
• Reduce the intensity.
• Their high absorbance rates are excellent reflectors of rays.
• Resist acids, rust and other environmental effects.



Additives

Additives are supporting substances that can be grouped into several types. They are used alongside other components of paint during production, storage, painting or dilution. Additive products include:
• Substances that formulate a protective coat once in contact with air.
• Supporting substances for paint spreading purposes.
• Substances used for preserving the paint from mould, fungus, and bacteria while being stored.
• A sediment barrier.
• A substance used to solidify paint faster, improves application and scratches resistance.
